Failures are nearly inevitable with traditional sewer pipe materials. We usually expect pipes to last about 60 years. Traditional repairs to sewer lines are just as disruptive as the pipe failure itself
When a home or business finds itself with an unusable sewer system, the traditional response is: excavate the sewer line --- locate the interruption --- splice on a new pipe or replace the whole line --- back fill the trench --- restore the surface the way it was Having a strip of your lawn torn up and replanted is annoying. What’s worse is the delay and expense of having to penetrate through concrete or asphalt, and then replace it. Pile on the fact that lots of businesses will be less productive and less accessible to their customers throughout the process if their parking lot is being dismantled. Meanwhile, your sewer is out of service --- a huge problem in its own right. Trenchless solutions simplify sewer line repairs The existing pipe and pilot hole provide everything needed for trenchless repairs. Excavation isn’t necessary. The problem can be done by accessing the pipe, or its pilot hole --- even for pipes with a large piece missing, all that’s really needed is the original tunnel the pipe sits in. Large lengths of pipe can be replaced. The break can located and assessed by feeding a camera down the line through a clean out fitting. If there’s no clean out available, we’ll make one, using Perma-Liner’s Vac-A-Tee. A perfectly round pipe can be manufactured inside the pipe or tunnel, with an impermeable PVC lining, bonding to a resin that hardens into the desired shape. Pipes can be back in service in less than day, including cure time --- without excavating your yard or parking lot. We like trenchless pipe repair because its swift and simple. My dad has been thinking about repairing his pipes because the tree roots have broken them. He would really like to get it repaired by a professional without using any trenches in order to be safer. Thanks for explaining how they won't have to replace a part of the lawn because there won't be a trench, and they can be more effective
